aveConnect driver for MS SQL Server is a Type 4 JDBC Driver
that uses the MS SQL Server's TDS (Tabular Data Stream) transport
protocol for the Native Protocol Driver. Since aveConnect
JDBC Driver for MS SQL Server is 100% Java, you can run it
on any machine irrespective of the underlying Operating System
MS Access
aveConnect Driver for MS Access is a Type III (Net Protocol
- Pure Java) JDBC Driver. aveConnect JDBC driver (instead
of JDBC - ODBC Bridge and an ODBC driver) eliminates the client
configuration required by an ODBC. The driver for MS Access,
being a Type III driver, uses a Universal Network Protocol
to communicate with the database. This is a generalized protocol
developed by Atinav.
DBF
Using the aveConnect Driver for DBF, you can create client-server/multi-user
applications in Java that access data in DBF files. The driver
for DBF has three major components: SQL Parser, DBF Engine,
